That is up to you! We're not here to sell you something you don't need, but rather provide an option if you're looking for one.

Why do regular bras not fit well with scoliosis?

Standard bras are designed for symmetrical bodies. Scoliosis causes curvature and rotation of the spine, which shifts shoulder height, rib positioning, and breast placement unevenly. This means one strap slides off, the band rides up on one side, and cups gap or overflow differently on each side. A bra designed for scoliosis needs to adjust independently on each side to match your actual body shape.

Is a front-close bra better for scoliosis?

Yes, for most people with scoliosis, a front-close bra is significantly easier. Scoliosis can limit the range of motion needed to fasten a back-close bra, especially when twisting causes pain. A front closure eliminates that movement entirely. Velcro front closures are particularly helpful because they allow for micro-adjustments throughout the day as your comfort level changes.

What should I look for in a bra for scoliosis?
